The two-member security team of the Pakistan Cricket Board virtually gave the green signal to Bangalore hosting one of the Test matches in the upcoming series against India.

"I won't be making any comments but things look good on the ground. I am sure match will be held here [Bangalore]," PCB general manager (Operations) Zakir Khan said.

Zakir and Sohail Khan [Images], Senior Superintendent of Police, Lahore [Images], inspected the M Chinnaswamy stadium, and were briefed by Karnataka State Cricket Association secretary Brijesh Patel.

"We looked at the facilities ... the pavilion, practice facilities, match-pitch and ground itself. We will make a report and submit it to the PCB," Zakir said.

A former cricketer, Zakir said he also talked with Patel regarding "good old cricketing days".
