Leg spinner Manoj Tiwary took five wickets as India under-19 thrashed England [Images] by 293 runs in the first cricket 'Test' at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore on Sunday.

Tiwary (5 for 33) was well supported by Avinash Yadav (3 for 16) and Harvinder Singh (2 for 45), as the visitors went down tamely without offering a semblance of a fight.

With match figures of 19.4-6-45-8, Tiwary was declared the man-of-the-match.

The hosts, who had made 334 in their first knock, declared their second essay at 200 for four.

Skipper Ambati Rayudu top-scored with a quickfire 58 off 53 balls with ten boundaries.
