Australia leg spinner Shane Warne [Images] became the first man to take 600 wickets in Tests when he dismissed England [Images] opener Marcus Trescothick [Images] on the opening day of the third Test at Old Trafford, Manchester, on Thursday.
Playing his 12th Test, Warne dismissed Trescothick for 63, caught behind by Adam Gilchrist [Images] off an attempted sweep, to reach the milestone.
