"Lillee's advice, during his visit to Chennai, has made me feel better and I'm very keen to go to Pakistan, if selected," Pathan said on his return from the southern metropolis.

The 19-year-old, who emerged as the leading wicket taker in the VB triangular one-day series in Australia, said he is working to improve his line and length and yorkers.

"I am practising the yorker and also trying to increase my strength," said Pathan, who will be returning to Pakistan after making it big with his exploits in the under-19 Asia Cup cricket tournament there.

Soon after his return to the city from Australia earlier this month, Pathan visited the MRF Pace Foundation after learning about Lillee's presence.

Two other Indian pacers Zaheer Khan and Asish Nehra were also in Chennai to pick up tips from Lillee.

Pathan also benefitted from the advice of Pakistani cricket legend Wasim Akram in Australia that helped him take 16 wickets in 10 ODIs and four Test wickets.
