Pak speedster Shoaib Akhtar in Mumbai

April 20, 2004 01:31 IST

Pakistan's tearaway bowler Shoaib Akhtar arrived in Mumbai on Monday for the shoot of a commercial.

"I am here to shoot for an ad for (motorcycle manufacturer) TVS Victor with Sachin and Gillespie," he told NDTV 24X7. "I love riding motorbikes. I'm going to ride a little here. It's fun."

Talking about his other off-field plans in Mumbai, the 'Rawalpindi Express' said he would play cricket with children and meet residents of a cancer hospital as a goodwill gesture.

Replying to a question, Akhtar said advertising, cricket and glamour go together and, "This is something I have to do."
