Saqlain out, Nazir in for second Test

Pakistan dropped veteran off-spinner Saqlain Mushtaq and included opener Imran Nazir for the second cricket Test against India, in Lahore from April 5 to 9.

The selectors refrained from making wholesale changes and retained most of the members of the team that lost the first Test by an  innings and 52 runs in Multan on Thursday.

Saqlain failed to make an impression in Multan, claiming only one wicket for 204 runs in India's first innings.

Squad: Inzamam-ul Haq (captain), Yasir Hameed, Taufiq Umar, Imran Farhat, Imran Nazir, Yousuf Youhana, Asim Kamal, Abdul Razzak, Shoaib Malik, Shoaib Akhtar, Shabbir Ali, Mohammad Sami, Danish Kaneria, Misbah-ul Haq, Umar Gul.
