DID YOU KNOW?

All-rounder Ian Harvey is nicknamed 'The Freak'. Harvey made his Limited Overs International debut for Australia at Sydney in the Carlton & United Series in December 1997 and was a member of Australia's 2003 World Cup-winning squad. His father Robert Harvey played 79 Tests for Australia from 1947-48 to 1962-63. The younger Harvey has scored 558 runs in 56 LOIs at an average of 18.00 and picked 65 wickets at an average of 31.35. But he is yet to establish a regular place in the Aussie XI. He is also yet to play a Test.

Craig McMillan has been one of New Zealand's principal batsmen and key players since 1997, when he made his international debut. His grit and determination soon saw McMillan carve a niche for himself. Whether batting or bowling, his aggressive approach makes him a joy to watch.

A long run of bad form saw McMillan being dropped after the 2003 World Cup for the Kiwi tour of Sri Lanka. But when in form, he can be a very dangerous batsman. Nothing proves this better than the world record he set in Hamilton in March 2001, when he slammed 26 runs off a Younis Khan over in a Test match against Pakistan.

McMillan scored 237 runs in the recent Test series against India and showed that he was truly at his best in the subcontinent. His LOI average, though, is not a true indicator of his worth.
