Victoria opening batsman Matthew Elliott steadied the innings after his opening partner Jason Arneberger was out early on the second day of the tour match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne, Australia, on Wednesday.

India, who declared their innings on the overnight score of 266 for nine, did well to restrict the hosts to 67 for one in the morning session.
