Australia opener Adam Gilchrist was dismissed quite early in the innings by Ajit Agarkar in the final of the tri-series at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata, on Tuesday.

The Mumbai speedster got a slower delivery through Gilchrist's defence to have him bowled for seven.

Agarkar was India's best bowler in the tournament, taking eight wickets at an impressive average of 24.75.

Australia won the match by 37 runs.
