It's the Indians versus the Aussies again. The World Cup defeats are history and with a depleted bowling attack Ricky Ponting will hope his batters are ready to chase down huge totals and his bowlers and fielders take every chance that comes their way

India vs Australia
Final

Australia opener Matthew Hayden pulled Ajit Agarkar straight to Harbhajan Singh, fielding inside the circle at square leg. The Sardar, who otherwise has a safe pair of hands, put down a simple catch.

Ajit Agarkar was the unlucky bowler yet again. Hayden, 18, had earlier survived a dropped catch.

Australia, who enjoyed their third let off early in the match, were 30 for 1 at that stage.
