Challenger Trophy teams to be named on Aug 26

The Board of Control for Cricket in India selection committee will meet at Bangalore on August 26 to name the teams for next month's Challenger Trophy, committee chairman Brijesh Patel said on Saturday.

Patel said the selection committee meeting will coincide with the concluding day of the ongoing conditioning camp for probables.

BCCI president Jagmohan Dalmiya is also expected to be present at the meeting.

The selected players will return to the city on September 1 for further training till September 8 ahead of the Challenger Trophy which begins on September 10.
