Your condolence messages

Name: Murali
Message: Its a premature ending to a brilliant carrier with some controvacies. What one should learn is how he faced things alone when every one pointed him and the way he overcame the things.Really a man with great skills.

Name: priya
Message: I think there are very few persons in the world, who does a mistake and admits it. Everybody commits a mistake, but Hansie atleast had the guts to admit it. I think we should forgive him for that! -priya

Name: nidheesh saxena
Message: a great skipper and should not be remebered for anything else but then his captiancy and a great man withlot of courage. he had the courage to admit his mistakes and face them unlike others

Name: anurag karna
Message: he is a man of courage a great leader i personally known him as a great leader not for the thing he was done two year's back i salute this young guy hansie i missed you a lot

Name: Harish.R
Message: World was with you! You probably did'nt deserve what you got after a decade of Iconism. May god bless you !

Name: Upkar S Sharma
Message: Lets Face it....Hansie was indeed one of the greatest captains in the history of Cricket, a good player and an excellent motivator. The man, did in his weak moments gave in to the lure of money but he was the only one to have guts to stand up and say he was wrong, unlike so many cricketers in other parts of the world. The Cricketing world has lost a Legend, who like greek gods suffered because of his own misdoing. No, there would not be another Hansie, because he was made of stuff which real men are made of......

Name: jayaprakash
Message: The Man who marshalled the twelve through victory for south Africa team will always be remebered. May his soul rest in peace without tension of match fixing. JP.

Name: Leon D'Souza
Message: Hansie.... Believe me ... u were the coolest and the best captain that i have ever seen........ But after an unexpected string of events we missed to see your leadership qualities. Anyways I pray that your soul may rest in peace.

Name: anandpardeshi
Message: Yes i had forgive him since he was talented player.

Name: B.M.Vasu
Message: I have forgiven Cronje. AS he was honest at lest he agreed to what he hed don but our Indian Cric like Azhar , Jadeja are still Lying.

Name: srinivas
Message: He is the true sports person. Since he has the guts to accept mistakes.

Name: swetha
Message: All of us commit mistakes. but not many have the courage to stand up & take responsibility. Cronje chose to do it despite knowing the disadvantages. Hats off to him for the courage he displayed. He was one of the finest captains in the annals of cricket. A bloke who was always pleasant & friendly. Not many people may remember his good deeds. But he will always be rembered as the one who revealed the darker side. That in itself is a tribute. May the soul rest in peace & let God help the bereaved family.

Name: Sarita
Message: Yes!!! I think Cronje can be forgiven, cos' atleast this man had the guts to admit his misdeeds, openly and was ready to accept all the mudslinging.... I guess it's high for us to realise that many others do more sinful and heinious acts than cronje and that too without a sigh of guilt....

Name: Padmanabhan Mudaliar
Message: I feel, it is not only a loss to Hansie's family and south african cricket but a loss to all the cricket fans the world over.

Name: raghu
Message: Dear friends, As a cricket fan I always admire hansie, he is a great cricket and a captain. and i also admire that he confess the things that he has done as a captain, as a indian i am really shame to say that no indian cricket has shown that much caliber to tell the truth behind the matchfixing. When he confess himself that he took money he should have given one more chance to prove his patriatism towards his country, you can see several polatics taking money and bribe but still they get elected as the leader, they never confess that took money from the external elements, So it was a great mistake of ICC to punishing him like putting a ban on his life, I think this put a lot of pressure on him and his parents. It may be case of killing by ICC. So I would like to request ICC board to think onceagain before putting life ban on anyone. they are playing with the life of some one. so please consider it onceagain. Thanking you. raghu

Name: shann kunder
Message: He took cricket to a new dimension. One of the shrewd captains of the game, his end was really unfortunate. He coped well after the controversery and just when he thought he had a beginning to a new career, fate played its part. God give strength to his family to go through this difficult phase.

Name: Meera
Message: He's been a wonderful cricketer who has captained South Africa. May his soul rest in peace

Name: MURALIDHAR
Message: Hansie is not only a great cricketer, but also a great humanbeing. Man tends to do mistakes. One who doesnot commit a mistake is God and not a man. Hence, let us remember his achievements rather than his mistakes. My wholehearted and last homage to him. Let his soul rest in peace. Bye Hansie!

Name: kamil hussain
Message: he was a leader in the true sense , a great competitor and great player.we all make mistakes in life but life has to move on ---wish the same was with him-may his soul rest in peace--god bless him

Name: Shivaji Ghosh
Message: The man has died with his sins, let cricket forgive him, will others come up with their honest confessions, please ?

Name: Lakshmi Prasad Reddy
Message: Everybody does mistakes, its common and its part and parcel of the life.Instead of remembering of the mistake he has done.Let us not forget the good that he has done for world cricket and southafrican cricket. He was a great captain and competitive cricketer.Let his soul rest in peace.

Name: BG
Message: I still remember how he called back Saurav after the latter was run out due to a collision with Fanny DeVilliers. Not too many captains do so. He also had the guts to tell the truth and confess his misdeeds. Hansie Cronje was one of the greatest captains in the history of South Africa if not in the annals of the game.

Name: B.R.Venkatesh
Message: Whatever good deeds Hansie had done during his playing years got wiped out by his greed to earn more. Ultimately death seperated him from his wealth. His playing days are to be remembered now and the controversy has to be forgotten . This is a lesson for others who fall in the same category who are more worried about money than national pride & prestige. May Hansie's soul rest in peace.

Name: Shabbir Jadliwala
Message: I was a great admirer of him and was sorry for what he did. But he still was one of the best caption South Africa have ever had. I wish his soul rests in peace. Aamen Shabbir

Name: chirag t.
Message: Our all sympathy is with Hansi's family & well wishers. May god rest his saul in peace.

Name: vengaiah MC
Message: Hansie is a good captain.he always try to win game even team is in difficulty position.

Name: prem prakash
Message: Now as Hansie Cronje is dead now, we should forget all the bad things he did with cricket and remember the good things he did for cricket and for South Africa.

Name: Anand Sharma
Message: It is said, " To Err Is Human, To Forgive, Divine. I have always felt that the world has been cruel to both Hansie and Azhar. The kind of filth that exists in Board politics of most Nations would make what they did pale in comparision. But these very people adopted a, " Holier Than Thou" attitude. We should have forgiven them for their sins and let them off with 5 year bans each. Look at the way the Aussies handled the Warne/Waugh affair. Finally, I will remember Hansie as a true LEADER of men. A person who led by personal example both on and off the field and someone who GRACED the game with his mere presence. His contribution to South African Cricket far outweighs Steve Waughs' purely because Hansie had to mould a nascent country whereas Waugh had the groundwork prepared for him by his illustrious predecessors. May the soul of the MASTER OF MAN-MANAGEMENT Rest In Peace - At least in Death.

Name: B.L. PRAMOD KUMAR
Message: may his soul rest in peace.. Hansie, we miss u alot

Name: Shailesh
Message: hansie was a gentleman b'cause he agreed what he did, this characteristics everybody cannot posses.
