India is the world's favoured market for BPO companies. With low labour costs, huge talent pool of skilled and english-speaking professionals, India has an edge over its competitors.

India's $20-billion BPO industry is likely to see a robust growth of 12-15%, for the financial year 2013-14.

The Indian BPO industry employs around 2.8 million people as of 2012.
