Tata Consultancy Services, India's largest software exporter, on Monday reported a 44.9 per cent jump in net profit to Rs 1,116 crore (Rs 11.16 billion) in the third quarter of this fiscal.
Total revenue during October-December 2006-07 stood at Rs 4,873 crore (Rs 48.73 billion), up by 8.42 per cent compared to the same quarter in the last fiscal. The company added 55 new clients in Q3.
TCS also announced a dividend of Rs 3 per share for the quarter, a company statement said.
