Tata launches mobile web-browser

Tata Teleservices, owner of Tata Indicom brand, unveiled on Thursday the country's first full-fledged web-browser for mobile phones.

"The web-browser is fully optimised for mobile internet and is being introduced in association with Samsung Telecommunication," Tata Teleservices President (Value Added Services)

Pankaj Sethi said.

"This new age browser is three to four times faster than GPRS and can access all web sites," Sethi said.
