Reliance Industries Vice Chairman and Managing Director Anil Ambani met Finance Minister P Chidambaram in New Delhi on Thursday.
It was not immediately known as to what Anil discussed with Chidambaram.
Anil, engaged in a bitter battle with elder brother Mukesh over ownership issues of Reliance empire, also met a number of senior officials of the finance ministry after his arrival in the capital last night, sources said.
