Interest rates to be stable: Kamath

Given the extremely good liquidity situation in the economy, interest rates are likely to remain stable in the next six months, K V Kamath, managing director and CEO, ICICI Bank said.

Kamath said that there was no possibility of a liquidity squeeze taking place in the near future.

He said there had been good offtake in consumer credit as well. Kamath said interest rates would remain stable in the next six months.
