BoB increases interest rate on NRE deposits

Bank of Baroda has revised upwards the interest rates on Non-Resident External deposits for various maturities by 0.05 to 0.1 per cent.

The rates for deposits of maturity one year to less than two years has been revised with effect from December 3 to 1.8 per cent (1.75 per cent earlier), BoB said on Monday.

In case of deposits of two years but less than three years and three years but up to five years, the rate would be 2.55 per cent (2.45 per cent) and 3.15 per cent (3.05 per cent), respectively, it added.
