November 04, 2005 17:20 IST
Microsoft Corporation on Friday announced free training for IT professionals for SQL 2005 and Visual Studio 2005 to be launched in December.

"SQL 2005 and Visual Studio 2005 are two of the most important offerings to be introduced by Microsoft for the enterprise space this year. We have been receiving several requests from interested IT professionals for content and training material," Vaibhav Phadnis, Microsoft Server Business group director, said.

The training programme has been divided in two modules; the first module includes training for beginners in which the fundamentals of the two programmes will be touched upon.

The second module will cater to those looking for in-depth training and will include nine e-learning courses for SQL 2005 and seven courses for Visual Studio.

The company is also planning to introduce self-study books for IT professionals for obtaining the technical skills and knowledge related to the two products. Microsoft will also be offering extensive training courses alongwith their training partners across the country.
