Mastek bags contract from Syntegra

Mastek Ltd has been awarded a 10-year contract by Syntegra, BT's system integration arm, for an initial sum of 27 million pound [approximately Rs 212 crore (Rs 2.12 billion)] as part of the national programme for information technology within the United Kingdom's National Health Service.

As part of this programme, prime-contracted by BT, Mastek would be responsible for the development and support of data integrity, terminology, reporting services and electronic transmission of prescriptions, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange on Tuesday.
