Forex reserves up $675 mn

Foreign exchange reserves increased $675 million to $164.023 billion for the week ended July 28, according to the weekly supplement released by the Reserve Bank of India on Friday.

Foreign currency assets moved up $673 million to $157.071

billion. Gold reserves and SDRs were unchanged at $6.180 billion and $7 million, respectively.

The Reserve Tranche Position with the IMF increased $2 million to $765 million.
