Employees of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd will strike work on May 21 in response to a call by central trade unions to protest government's privatisation policy.
The strike notice was served on BSNL chairman on Tuesday by general secretary of BSNL Employees Union V A N Namboodiri, a release said.
The first demand in the strike notice is 'halt to privatisation of profit-making public sector undertakings, including BSNL', it added.
