Maruti hikes prices of five models

Maruti Udyog Ltd, a joint venture between the Indian government and Japan's Suzuki Motor Corporation, has raised the prices of its five car models effective September 10.

The models are the Maruti 800 STD, Maruti 800 EX, Maruti 800 DX, Zen LX and Zen VX models.

The price-hike ranges from Rs 4,000 to Rs 10,000, depending on the model, a Maruti spokesman said.
