No surprises in Zimbabwe shortlist

The Zimbabwe Cricket Union today released its penultimate list for the 1999 World Cup.

The shortlist of 19 contains the usual suspects, with just one or two new names added.

The list will be pruned to the final 15 by March 31, it was announced.

The shortlist reads: Alistair Campbell, Gavin Rennie, Neil Johnson, Guy Whittal, Graig Wishart, Grant Flower, Henry Olonga, Dirk Viljoen, Everton Matambanadzo, Andy Flower, Endo Brandes, Murray Goodwin, Mpumelelo Mbangwa, Heath Streak, Andrew Whittal, Stuart Carlisle, Paul Strang, Adam Huckle, and Gary Brent.
