The 6,400-seater stadium, home ground of county championship holders Leicestershire, will be home base for the Indian World Cup team. Appropriately enough, given that there is a large expat Indian community in the region -- though whether this is a boon, since the Indians will get all the home-cooking they want, or a curse, considering the frenetic round of partying there is likely to be, only time will tell. It used to be a football and hockey arena before cricket took over, and ranks among the more picturesque venues in England. India has played one LOI there -- in fact, the only one to have been played at the venue.

Schedule: 19 May, India v Zimbabwe
27 May, West Indies v Scotland
