World Cup colours
March 01, 2007
A look at the jerseys the teams will don at the World Cup in the West Indies.
16 teams are taking part in the March 13-April 28 tournament, two of which -- Ireland and Bermuda-are making their Cup debut.
Influenced by the Kerry Packer World series, coloured clothing, white balls and floodlights were introduced in the 1992 World Cup.
Power plays will be introduced during this World Cup edition, obliging the fielding captain to nominate two five-over spells after the first 15 when fielding restrictions will be applied.
