Pakistan continues anti-India tirade

Islamabad on Thursday accused New Delhi of trying to take advantage out of the crisis arising out of the terrorist strikes in the United States and indulging in a "vicious and relentless propaganda" against Pakistan.

To a question at a media briefing in Islamabad, Foreign Office spokesman Riaz Mohammad Khan said, "This is the worst form of opportunism."

Khan's comments came a day after the bitter attack launched by President Pervez Musharraf in his address to the nation seeking to justify his decision to support the US efforts to get Saudi dissident Osama bin Laden extradited from Afghanistan.

Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Abdul Sattar had a telephonic talk with his German counterpart Josohka Fischer on the situation triggered by the terrorist attacks in the US, official media reports said.

"Fischer complimented Pakistan for its courageous and far-sighted policy, which was greatly appreciated by Germany and other partners in the coalition against terrorism," the reports said.
