Taleban rejects another offer to surrender Laden

Taleban supreme leader Mullah Mohammed Omar on Saturday rejected another offer made by the United States to hand over Saudi renegade Osama bin Laden.

Omar issued a statement denouncing the attacks on Afghanistan and said there was no move to "hand over anyone".

Americans and their British allies are "making our children orphans and", he said in a statement distributed by the Afghan Islamic Press.

Appealing to Muslim nations, he said: "Does your fate allow you to remain silent spectators? We will not accept a life of slavery."
