Iran on Sunday condemned the attacks launched by the United States and its allies against the Taleban militia in Afghanistan and said the strikes were "unacceptable".
"These attacks, which have been launched regardless of the world opinion, especially the Muslim nations, will damage the innocent and oppressed Afghans," state IRNA news agency quoted foreign ministry spokesman Hamid-Reza Asefi as saying.
Asefi also warned the US against any action which might encroach on the territorial integrity of the Iran.
"America must respect the sea and air territorial integrity of the Islamic republic of Iran," the spokesman said.
