World Trade Center missing toll drops to 5,219

The number of people missing in the ruins of the World Trade Center has fallen by 422 to 5,219, the office of New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani said on Sunday.

Giuliani's office said five more bodies had been recovered, bringing the number of bodies found to 314, 255 of which have been identified.

Some 144,000 tonnes of debris have now been removed from the scene of September 11 suicide plane attacks against the twin towers.
