CIA deny contact with bin Laden

Refuting French media reports, the Central Intelligence Agency denied one of its agents had contacted Osama bin Laden in July, while the Saudi terrorist was allegedly being treated in a Dubai hospital.

CIA spokeswoman Anya Guelsher on Monday called the report 'complete nonsense'.

Le Figaro and Radio France International had reported that a CIA operative had met with Osama bin Laden, while he was undergoing kidney treatment.

"The CIA never employed, paid or maintained any relationship whatsoever with bin Laden," a statement issued by the agency said.
