Laden not hiding in Tora Bora: AIP

Saudi extremist and Al Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden had fled Tora Bora in November itself for an unknown destination, the Pakistan-based Afghan Islamic Press reported on Friday.

AIP reported that Laden was in the Tora Bora area until November 25.

The AIP report said that Laden took refuge in the mountainous Tora Bora region only after the Taliban evacuated Kabul on November 12. Until then, he had been staying in Jalalabad in eastern Afghanistan.
