From Bombay, we took a train to Ahmedabad and a bus to Dasada via Viramgam. It is also possible to catch a a train directly to Viramgam and take a bus from there to Dasada. Desert Coursers will pick you up from Dasada, which is half an hour from Zainabad. The camp is a collection of twelve impeccable mud huts with clean linen, clean bathrooms, running water, even a swing in the porch. Hot meals are served buffet style in the open-air dining room. Price (March 1998): Rs 690 per person per day (includes stay, food, wild ass safari). Foreign nationals: US $50 per person per day.
