Delhi, as the national capital, attracts politicos and such-like hungry critters from across the country - right? Okay. And we want the ruling classes to spend their time piloting this country into the 21st century, not nursing the notorious 'Delhi-belly', right? So what we do is, we ensure that in Delhi almost every single Indian culinary tradition is adequately represented.

Then again, the national capital serves as home to embassies from across the globe, each staffed with diplomats whose palates are as discriminating as anyone else's. Which, in turn, means Delhi boasts restaurants that specialise in most famed international culinary styles.

The bottom line? The visitor to Delhi needs to worry about a lot of things - but where he is getting his next meal, the way he likes it, is not one of them.
