Q. When the Speaker of T.N.Assembly went to Tirunelveli for election meeting of DMK party, he demanded Govt. vehicle and other such facilities. But as per the instructions of the Election Commission those who visit Districts for personal purposes like Party meetings and not connected with public purposes should not use the Govt. vehicle at the cost of the Govt. The Collector Tirunelveli has therefore not allotted Govt. vehicle to the Speaker. His sincerity and following the rules correctly was not appriciated by the so called politicians and he was shifted immediately.
