Q. In the Bofors deal it was a precondition that there will be no middlemen involved. But Quattrochi was a middleman and he was given a hefty commission.Now even if this fact has come to light ,I think all India could have done was to cancel the deal or file a case against Bofors.Under what legal clause can India try to prosecute Quattrochi as he is not involved directly with India.The commission he earned was from Bofors.kindly explain in layman's language as I am not a legal expert.Thanks.
