Q. Indian ARmy troops are 1 of the bravest and most skilled in the world. Yet when we faced China in 1962 and look at our losses- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sino-Indian_War ....we had most of our forces intact. Why didn\'t we absorb heavier losses, and put up a determined resistance against all odds like say- Stalingrad battle or defense of Iwo Jima in WW2. If we put up a fight, we could\'ve rushed in partisans / irregulars and eventually more troops to the front and perhaps pulled it off. \Why did we surrender so meekly?
