Q. It is a shame that with population over hundred crores we are not able to earn medals in Olympics.I think the best way to motivate people would be to keep prizes of three crores for gold, two crore for silver and may be one crore for the bronze medals.This could be compensated by reducing wasteful expenditure on sports associations and tour of officials every now and then.It would be also interesting to see as to how many are the real competing athletes and how many are the officials who have gone on pleasure tour at the cost of public exchequer.
