Q. 1.I am an NRI and a senior citizen( d.o.b= 1 sep 42)Have been working outside India since 1978.Have got no PAN. Is it necessary for me to have one now ?2.Coming back to India permanently in Aug 2007.What sort of income tax do I have to pay if any ? Have got no pension.3.Rentals of house and flat amount only to Rs 12000 p.m in India. Have got dependant,non working wife(58).
