Q. what all documents are required for police verification if the house is rented one. Am staying at this house for more than 2 years now. I have gas connection, ration card and also bank accounts (more than 1) at this very address. Also have given society letter to them. Also gave them the agreement for rent which is not notarized. Now today the policemen asked for any property papers in India and also rent agreements of earlier addresses. He also want all the documents to be attested although I carried all originals with me.....very irritating...pl advice
