Q. The Mehtas may have given up, but FOGSI (Federation of Obstetric & Gynaecological Societies of India) vows to keep the flame burning until the abortion Act is amended. I feel all mothers should have right to choose to terminate pregnancy even beyond 20 weeks when the mother's life is endangered or when it is opined that the foetus has an abnormality which could affect the quality of life if born or could even be lethal to the foetus after birth. Your views please???
