After Rajiv Gandhi lost power, India was ruled by parties who were non-BJP & non-Congress. In a very short period of 3/4 years, disaster struck and India was on the verge of bankruptcy. Man Mohan Singhs financial brain saved the country and it started on a growth path. If at this juncture of world wide economic crisis, if a non-BJP, non-Congress government comes to power, it would be the greatest injustice meted out to India by selfish politicians, who cannot see beyond their nose.
