Theo Walcott took to Facebook on Thursday morning to announce the birth of his first child with wife Melanie Slade.

The 25-year-old Arsenal ace wrote that he was over the moon following the birth of his son, Finley, born Thursday morning. He asserted that it’s amazing to be mummy and daddy.

“Love him so much x,” he wrote.

Walcott and Slade met in 2004 at a shopping centre in Southampton and got married last summer in Tuscany, Italy, after a long-term relationship.

Nicole Scherzinger was recently seen showing her support for and indulging in a lot of PDA with her on-off beau Lewis Hamilton in Bahrain, where the F1 racer was competing at the F1 Grand Prix.

According to E! Online, the former Pussycat Doll member, who had donned a pair of jeans, a white tank top with mesh over-shirt to watch Hamilton race, was cheering him on from the stands while he won over his competitors.

The loved-up brunette beauty had also congratulated Hamilton after his Malaysian Grand Prix win last week, on Twitter, asserting that she was very proud of him.

Victoria Beckham will work with the United Nations as a goodwill ambassador for their UNAIDS campaign.

The wife of super-hot former England footballer David Beckham says she was inspired following a recent trip to South Africa, where she met with children stricken by the deadly disease.

A friend of the star told The Sun: "She wants to give back by doing what she can."

The Spice Girl-turned-fashion designer visited Cape Town in February as part of the 'Born Free' initiative, which tackles the issue of HIV being transmitted from mothers to their children.

UNAIDS aims to reach 15 million people living with HIV with antiretroviral treatment and reduce sexual transmission of HIV by 50 per cent by 2015.

Victoria, who turns 40 next week, and her husband are dab hands when it comes to charitable ventures.

Last year they donated thousands of pounds worth of designer clothes to their local Red Cross charity shop in Chelsea to raise money for survivors of Typhoon Haiyan.

A golf fan has reportedly bet 1000 pounds on Northern Irish ace Rory McIlroy winning the US Masters after allegedly seeing the golfer's face in a Danish pastry.

College lecturer Rob Price, who picked up the buttery treat from his local bakery in Andover, took it as a 'sign' that the golfer's face appeared in a pastry from his girlfriend Caroline Wozniacki's home country, to back the Irishman at the golfing tournament.

According to the Daily Star, a spokesman from online betting exchange Betfair said that although Price has chosen an odd way of putting his bet, he has a fair chance with Tiger Woods dropping out of the tournament and the rest of the world's golfers having a mixed season.
