PHOTOS: Tennis ace Sania Mirza's Roman holiday

When Sania Mirza is not demolishing opponents in a doubles competition, India's tennis ace is busy exploring the world.

Sania had recently paid a visit to the Italian city of Rome and she posted pictures of herself on her Twitter page, soaking in the sights and sounds of the beautiful city.

"Walking the streets of Rome... the city of loveee <3" she tweeted in one post, where she is seen at her fashionable best.

The Grand Slam winner also posted a photograph of her overlooking the famous Colosseum, an elliptical amphitheatre in the centre of the city of Rome.

Her joy at the sight of the structure was noticeable with a tweet that read "At the Colosseum in Rome :)".

Now, let's hope this holiday inspires Sania to bring out her best at the French Open that is to start in two weeks time.
