Newcastle's Cisse splits with model girlfriend to focus on career

Newcastle United striker Papiss Cisse has split from his beauty queen girlfriend Rachelle Graham, and is looking to concentrate on football after a turbulent few months.

According to the Mirror, the pair had worked tirelessly to raise money for an ambulance in Cisse's homeland Senegal earlier this year. 

A friend revealed that the ex-Miss Newcastle, Rachelle, was heartbroken and desperately trying to get back with Papiss, and that she did not want the relationship to end.

Cisse, who earns 40,000 pounds a week, had declined to wear this season's Toon shirt which bears the name of sponsor payday loan firm Wonga, before backing down after talking with an imam, the report said.
