The brainchild of Indian tennis star Mahesh Bhupathi, the ITPL is being touted as a game changer for professional tennis. Further details will be revealed in Dubai during the next three days.

Twelve-time doubles Grand Slam champion Bhupathi claimed that the concept could change tennis, just as cricket is being changed by the Indian Premier League, the report added.

According to Sport24, Djokovic fervently hopes the ITPL will go on as planned, without any obstacles, saying that the tournament will be a 'fantastic concept' as it is going to promote tennis in the Asian part of the world, which is a big market.

Calling the tournament as a 'fun concept', Djokovic said it will let the players enjoy themselves on and off-court together and make them understand the concept of being a part of a team, although he admitted that the tournament is hard to realise at this point of time as it promises to be a huge program and project.
