'The Indian Express' to reunite at Aus Open

'The Indian Express' will be back on the tracks in 2011 as Mahesh Bhupathi [ Images ] and Leander Paes [ Images ] have decided to reunite in their quest to complete a career Grand Slam at the Australian Open [ Images ].

The veteran duo first teamed up in October 1994 and has compiled a 223-81 career record, which includes three Grand Slam doubles titles from five finals.

Bhupathi confirmed the plan ahead of the season finale in London [ Images ]. "We have had very good success in the past and I think we'll be able to start off well ahead of our bid to win the Australian Open," the 36-year-old said.

We won Roland Garros [ Images ] a couple of times, we won Wimbledon [ Images ] and the US Open [ Images ] with different partners, but we have not won in Melbourne [ Images ]," Paes said.  

"We'll be trying to complete a career Grand Slam. We feel this is a good chance, as a lot of teams are splitting up at the end of the year," he added.
