Sania Mirza and her Russian partner Elena Vesnina entered the semi-finals of the WTA Indian Wells tournament with a straight-set victory over the Argentine pair of Gisela Dulko and Paola Suarez.
The second seeded Indo-Russian pair needed just over an hour to get the better of the wild card team 6-2, 6-3.
Sania-Vesnina proved too good, breaking the Argentines five times in the match.
Besides winning 19 out of 25 points, they also converted five of nine break-points they got.
They meet the third seeded Czech combo of Andrea Hlavackova and Lucie Hradecka, who defeated the fifth seeded Italian pair of Sara Errani and Roberta Vinci in the quarter-finals.
