India's Sania Mirza and her Czech partner Barbora Strycova defeated unseeded pair of Canada's Gabriela Dabrowski and Spain's Maria Jose Martina Sanchez 4-6, 6-3, 10-5 to enter the Toray Pan Pacific Open final, in Tokyo on Friday.

The second seeds earlier beaten Japan's Miyu Kato and China's Yifan Xu 6-2, 6-2 in their quarter-final encounter.

The Indo-Czech pair will next face the winners of the match between China's Chen Liang and Zhaoxuan Yang and third seeded Raquel Atawo and Abigail Spears from the United States.

This is Sania and Strycova's third tournament together.

Last month, Sania and Strycova won the Cincinnati Open title with a 7-5, 6-4 win in the final against her previous partner Martina Hingis and Coco Vandeweghe.

However, the pair were ousted from the US Open quarters after losing in straight sets to Caroline Garcia and Kristina Mladenovic.
