After Italy defeated Belgium 2-1, it was not just their football that made it a memorable evening.
Giovanni Di Lorenzo, Andrea Belotti and Alessandro Bastoni stripped down to their underwear as they threw their shorts into the stands. We've seen jersey exchanges and bare bodies, but this was certainly a first!
German, British ministers bet beer on match
Taking time out from diplomacy, German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas bet his British counterpart Dominic Raab a crate of beer over the result of the game between the two nations.
'My United Kingdom colleague and I agree on almost anything in international affairs, but not on who will win at Wembley tonight. So, how about a little wager? GER didn't lose its last 7 matches at Wembley. Keep it that way,' Maas tweeted after swapping national soccer shirts with Raab.
'We've got a case of @bigsmokebrew riding on this. Come on England!' Raab responded.
Heiko and Dominic were in the southern Italian city of Matera for a one-day summit of G-20 foreign ministers.
French astronaut watches Euro match from space!
Thomas Pesquet watched the Gauls play Portugal from the International Space Station.
'We did not fall into the simplest group for these group stages of the @UEFA, it made the matches all the more interesting ;) Bravo les Bleus for 1st place !!!#POR#FRA', the French astronaut tweeted from space!
The match ended in a 2-2 draw and saw France top the group.
Pesquet is part of the European Space Agency and together with three astronauts he is on the International Space Station.
French baker whips up special treats
French baker Ludovic Gerboin in Moosinning, Germany, added a little sweetness to #Euro2020 for fans from all countries, but his culinary focus is on the rival neighbours, France and Germany.
The Frenchman has lived in Germany for years and his baked goodies are symbolic of his torn allegiance.
Anti-Hawaiian pizza banner at Wembley
Fans coming to the stadium with their banners is not new. Placards that read 'It's coming home' to 'No Pasta, No Party' were spotted at the Euros.
But one offended fan's protest over Hawaiian pizza -- the one with pineapple toppings -- caught the eye at Wembley during the semi-final between England and Denmark.
And while he received a lot of support from folks hailing him as a 'Hero without a cape' to 'If nothing else comes from the Euros that should absolutely be made law!', there were others who dissed the guy.
Whatever party you belong to, this one was worth a chuckle!
